I have used different brands of mats and have not liked them. The Lole brand is inexpensive, but the quality is great and the amount of padding is perfect!

I use this yoga mat for yoga. I ordered it because it was described as having good grip, but I find it to have less grip than was described. It also has quite a strong odor, which I didn’t expect based on the contents, so I’m hoping it finishes off-gassing soon. I’m basically leaving it outside in the breeze while it off-gasses. I only decided to keep it because I’ve already returned a different yoga mat that I actually hated, and I really need a yoga mat since my old one was so over-used that I couldn’t use it anymore. I do like the thickness of the Lole mat.

This mat is really nice choice. I love how bright and grippy it is. It rolls and unrolls nicely without bumps or curls.The only minor downfalls are it’s not super thick and it doesn’t come with a strap to keep it rolled up. Depending on why your using it, might influence how comfortable it is for you. My yoga studio has really thick (but not grippy) mats, I can put this one over.
