Pilates set came in handy for rehab.
This set came in handy when I needed to rehab my hip and back. At the chiropractor office, there are tools and implements that you wouldn’t necessarily have the luxury of having at home. This set is reasonably priced and perfect to help stretch and strengthen different parts of my body.The chiropractor asked me to do “homework” between sessions. For those that required a band, I used this set. They are: “Banded Wall Walk” and “Standing Row” to improve my shoulder and posture, “Crab Walks” and “Monster Walks” to strengthen the glutes and stability.There is a guide included in the set that details different exercises if you feel motivated to do them. So far, I’ve done “Standing Chest Squeeze” and “Inner Thigh Squeeze” from the guide. These use the Pilates Ring.I do agree with the other reviewer that it would have been helpful to have two different tensions for the resistance loops bands. This set comes with two 25lb tension bands. I’m wondering if the second band is to be used as a spare. My chiropractor said that the bands do go bad and to check them often to make sure they are not compromised otherwise it could snap.Overall, this set is well made. It represents a good mix of low impact, pretty pastel colored equipment designed for women.

I started using this as part of a beginner routine and it’s been really helpful. There is a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you get the hang of it, it works your muscles more than expected. The set feels well made and everything included is useful. I’ve especially noticed it helping with my chronic pain when I use it consistently. It’s been a really good addition to my routine. It’s made really well and doesn’t feel cheap and it doesn’t feel as though it’s going to fall apart and break right away. The color is nice but doesn’t the color doesn’t matter much to me. As long as it does what it’s supposed to do, which it does.
