Super soft and comfy
Pros:- drawstring! I’ve been looking for leggings with a drawstring so the waistband doesn’t fall as I run/exercise.- SO soft: idk what people mean when they say buttery soft (lol 🙈) but these are so stinking soft. Literally feel like a cross between spandex and PJs- lightweight- pockets!- not see through during squats- not quite HIGH waisted but not low waisted either? It’s a good height – goes to about my belly buttonCons:- a little long: I’m 5’5 and 220lbs and they bunched at my ankles when I tucked them into my quarter length socks- the part above the drawstring falls during workouts (not a huge concern but still)- not tummy controlling. Again, not a huge concern but always a nice to have for us apron belly girlies 💁🏽♀️I haven’t washed them yet, but I’ll report back after!

I have tried many, many athletic leggings over the years from different brands. My biggest problem has always been with a long torso, I have always struggled to keep leggings from sliding down when I workout. These leggings not only stay up with the addition of the tie, they are also truly high rise going well over my belly button. I am not sure why manufacturers don’t make more leggings with ties. In addition, these leggings really do feel like buttery soft material without being high gloss shiny. At 5’7′ they come to the top of my feet, so would be great for taller gals. If you are looking for compression type leggings, these are not for you. However I lift weights regularly and while these are thin, I have no issues with see- through with the darker colors. These are the perfect thin-ness and weight for summer time. I have read reviews that the Heather colors are a different material, so I have steered clear of those but own the black, grey, and olive green. I have no need to buy ultra expensive, brand name athletic wear so these are a steal. Definitely recommend. My only caveat I’d to be sure to tue them tightly when washing as the string does pill through. Luckily they are easy to restring.

Different colors different fabrics
I decided to try these because I was looking for high-waisted drawstring leggings for running. I have a lot of leggings I already love for lifting or for being comfortable, but they don’t always stay up well or are more compression than I want when running. I ordered the dark blue-green and the gray heather. The dark blue green arrived first and I happily took them for a test drive (run) shortly after. They worked great for a 5k, at no point did I feel the need to hike them up or adjust.I was also really happy with the material, they are smooth and soft and buttery with a nice sheen to them. Then the gray ones arrived. And I’m not UNhappy with them…but they are simply not as impressive. They are a thinner, cheaper feelings material. Maybe this is just the nature of heather print anything, and it’s not that it’s necessarily bad that they’re thinner…but following the material of the first pair of leggings, I feel pretty meh about them. I’m not going to return, because I’m sure they’ll still do the job with the high waist and drawstring, but certainly would not order another “heather” color. If the gray pair had been the first and only that I ordered to try, I would not have ordered a second pair. They are pretty thin and feel more like literal tights than standard leggings do.I also ordered racerback shirts from this brand, and the same can be said for those in the heather color vs solid colors – solids feel and look high quality, the heather is kind of scratchier and doesn’t fit/lay the same as the other material.So to summarize, fully recommend the solid color leggings. Personally wouldn’t buy the heather ones or recommend them. I would say they are both true to size, I wear a medium in leggings and the medium fit well (5’6”, 140 for reference).OH also – tie the drawstrings before washing, they are on the short side and I had to fish them out after the first wash.

I could live in these!!
I was skeptical when I saw the material but then I put them on!!!! They are so soft, like buttery soft. Lightweight but not thin so they aren’t see through. They are so comfortable I could live in them. I got 2 pairs, black and heather grey, and I’m already planning on getting more in different colors!!!

Cute & Comfy but THIN
Soft and cute, but VERY THIN. I ordered the light Heathered gray. I love the color and they fit well. They are comfortable. Slightly supportive, but doesn’t dig into my waist, which I love. These are definitely see-through. I’ll only be able to use these for lounge, not for working out as I’d intended. The fabric seems to be lower quality. I’d say if you want something comfy for at home, these are a decent option.I love the legging-jogger look, so if these were to be made slightly thicker, I think they would be amazing!

Edited: Just don’t buy these. Two washes in and they are already pilling where my thighs touch and in the butt area where I sit and the stitching on the band and seams are all broken and coming undone. Just, wow. Absolutely horrendous quality. WTF happened The Gym People? Your workout shorts are so nice…Original: If you bought these under the assumption that these would be the same quality as THE GYM PEOPLE’s shorts…. They are not. They are very thin and your underwear can be seen through the fabric when you bend over. If you wear really long tops that cover you when you bend over, I will say, that they are very soft and light weight. They will be great come summer time as they feel very breathable….. as long as your bum remains covered or you just don’t bend over at all. Maybe you’re one of those people who ALWAYS has a long sleeve tied around their waist? These could be for you. I will give their other full length leggings a try in hopes that they are the same amazing quality as the several pairs of shorts I previously purchased from them. These ARE NOT that same quality, though. I knew I should have only bought one instead of two. Sadge.

Besonders gefallen mir die seitlichen Taschen. Diese Hose behält auch nach mehrmaligem Waschen ihre Form und Funktion, allerdings gebe ich sie nie in den Wäschetrockner.
