Rugged, comfortable work pants with thoughtful features
I love these pants. They have useful pockets and a handy loop. They fit true to size. I’m 5’8” 180 lbs, with a short waist, long legs, thick thighs, and solid butt. I ordered the medium tall, and they are perfect. I have an older pair of the medium regular. They are annoyingly too short, but still excellent quality pants, after many washes. I have a pair in size large regular, from when I was 30 lbs heavier, and those sadly do not stay up, anymore. My other pairs have lasted 3 years and 5 years, through very physical jobs on horse farms and in an auto shop, and they still look like new. As with all my expensive lycra-containing leggings, these get hung to dry, and never go in the dryer. I expect the new pair will last a long time, too, since Carhartt makes genuinelyrugged clothing with thoughtful design.Highly recommend.

Great Chore Leggings once you find your right size
Waist 27, hips 35, inseam 29-30. Both the small and x-small in regular and short lengths work ok in the midweight and lightweight for me. Xs short is my preferred size because they completely stay in place once they’re on; small short is fine but a little roomier after I’ve been moving a bit; regular length, I have to bunch at the knee or ankle. They both will stretch but not a ton. I was needing pants that would fair well to outside work and do well around animals and have enough room for my phone. I’m currently clearing trails with a blower and mix of saws and cutting briar vines. Women’s jeans have such shallow pockets that my phone kept falling out. Both the lightweight and midweight Carhartts have proven durable and comfortable, both with plenty of phone pocket room. It’s a little more than challenging to find your right size, but it is totally worth the frustration. Hopefully, this review will make it a little easier for you. The midweight have darted patches over the knees. If these patches don’t line up, you can’t bend your knee. I’m a 29-30 inseam, so for the midweight, I need a short length. If you get the wrong length in the midweight, you have to bunch the fabric at the knee, not the ankle. Altering the midweight length will not work; the lightweight don’t have this issue. Because they don’t have patches, the regular length in the lightweight just means a little extra material at my ankle that will go in my boots. The lightweight material is a little stretchier than the midweight material. The material on both at the calves is not forgiving and a little tight. (I do have athletic calves). Going up a size, gives you a little more room in the calf area, but just a little. Both are a little difficult to first get in to but feel great once they are on. For field or barn work, both are great- the midweight is a little more durable but hotter. The midweight are fine up to about 75-80 degrees outside; otherwise use the lightweight. For office work, the midweight could look appropriate with boots but not the lightweight. Seams on the lightweight run on the sides and look more like a workout legging. I hike and run but would not recommend either of these for that. Use them for what they are made for- outdoor chore leggings. Pockets are different in all of the styles. The midweight have front and back full pockets and a small side pocket. The lightweight have a right side zippered pocket and double pocket on the left side that I use for my phone. The lightweight ankle are a 27” stretched inseam and have no zipper but pockets on both sides (go with these if you are petite). I hope this review helps someone. These really are great leggings.

    get them
I am 5’3″ 125lbs and got a M. It’s slightly roomy in the waist but I have spent zero time hoiking these pants up while working. Calves fit slightly snug. I like that the pockets are reinforced otherwise these wouldn’t have lasted as work pants. I wish there were back pockets or another pocket further down the leg. I’ve worn these alone, I’ve worn a base layer underneath (a little tight), and I’ve worn these underneath carhartt quilted dungarees. I love that I can wear leggings to work (women finally getting their own work clothes, yay! but also ease of movement and comfort.) Now I’m wondering just how waterproof they are.

Work Hard, Move Easy – My Go-To Leggings!
These Carhartt Force leggings are a game-changer! They’re lightweight, super comfortable, and move with me all day without losing shape. Perfect for work, errands, or just lounging, they fit snugly without feeling restrictive. I love the quality and durability—definitely worth every penny!

    Waist gaps
For $50 – this should be a great pair of pants. They just didn’t get it quite right. I’m 5’10” and the “long” is a 31″ inseam. I need a 34″. I can wear these on the farm with my work boots because my boots cover the ankle. But if I wanted to slip on other shoes and run into town – the short inseam looks pretty terrible. For $50 – this should be a pair of pants that I cam wear both on and off the farm.Length aside, they still come up short. My phone doesn’t fit in the pocket on the right leg so I’m limited to the one pocket on the left for my phone (non-zippered pocket which is less secure). My biggest frustration with these pants is the fit at the waist. They’re loose and baggy and so they don’t stay up. They needed to either make the waist like leggings (fit tighter/some compression) or have it adjustable. They could have easily put a velcro tab or drawstring or something in the waistband to make it adjustable and they didn’t. If you carry all of your weight in your tummy – these may work for you. I’m more of an hourglass and the waist has a huge gap. This causes the pants to sag and if I’m working moving cattle and I have any tools at all in the pockets – I find I’m constantly tugging them up.They got 2 stars because the material is good quality and I feel like would last several years. But they completely fail in fit.If I want leggings – my $20 amazon leggings that fit tight are a better choice. If I want work pants that are lightweight- my REI hiking pants are the better choice. For $50 – I should want to wear these but I find I’m always reaching for something else in the closet.Try again Carhartt. Not all women are short and fat.

Leider war die Hose mir etwas zu groß in XL, doch die Qualität ist ein Traum.Sie fühlt sich unfassbar gut an auf der Haut. Schade, dass ich sie umtauschen muss.

This is my second pair of women’s workwear leggings. I have17 pet pigs and these never fail to keep me warm and dry. Loads of side pockets, I prefer side pockets and they are dry almost immediately, even after getting soaked. I also wear them for gardening and literally live in them, hence a second pair. I told a friend about them who is a horticulturalist and she messaged me from the Chelsea flower show to say how fantastic they were and she was also hooked! Great customer service also from this seller, I may even get a third pair. They fit like leggings and you don’t even know you are wearing them. I am sure these will last for many years, great quality from carhartt

These pants are great quality and durable, I love the extra pockets. I am 5ft 6” and have a 28 inch waist and 39 inch hips and got a medium regular, they fit perfect! At first I thought the waist looked too big but I definitely needed the extra room to pull them past my hips since there isn’t much stretch as it says. Overall would definitely recommend and I will be wearing these during the winter! I would size up

I’ve found myself wearing these a lot – whether out and about in the garden or out running errands. They fit nicely and are slimming, which helps with the post lockdown flab ☺️!
