I'm really happy with this 18" exercise step. It comes with risers so you can make it 2 heights, and the risers store under the main step when not in use. This makes the step extremely compact for storage. The risers are also extremely easy to put on and take off, so it's really no hassle to take it out daily for use. With or without the risers, the step is solid and stable, does not wobble when stepped on. I ended up getting a second step so I can play around with multiple levels when I exercise. If you're on the shorter side, I've found it works nicely as a foot rest for better ergonomic position at a desk.

    After my hip replacement I had trouble with the step into the house, which was almost 10 inches high. I bought this so I wouldn't be struggling with this step. It was very helpful. It held my weight of about 190 lbs. I bought 2, one for side door and one for back. The height of each step is different and that is where the attachment comes in. Once I'm in the house I use the hook of my cane to pick up the step to get it into the house.

    Mine arrived in a box taped so many times it took awhile to open, then several broken plastic pieces fell out. Odd part of the whole thing was that only one small piece of plastic fit, the others belonged to something not a part of the step platform. The one little broken piece didn't affect the unit at all, but it seemed as though somebody tried to make it appear to be in bad shape. The whole thing was a quandry.
